About this course
Digital literacy is no longer optional in education. It is the basis of inclusive, engaging, modern teaching. This Erasmus+ KA1 teacher training course is a hands-on programme for teachers, trainers and school staff who want to improve their ICT skills and use digital technology confidently in their daily practice, whatever their starting level.
The course follows a learning-by-doing approach. Instead of long presentations, you will spend most of the time creating, testing and sharing real digital resources. Over five days, you will work with a selection of practical ICT tools for the classroom:
- Collaborative cloud tools to create, store and share materials with students and colleagues
- Gamification and quiz platforms to make lessons interactive and check learning in real time
- Video creation tools to record explanations, tutorials and student projects
- Simple organisation strategies to keep your digital resources clear and easy to reuse
Step by step, you will turn static lessons into dynamic, student-centred learning experiences. You will learn how to choose the right tool for each purpose and how to use technology to support all learners, not only the most digitally confident.
By the end of this professional development course, you will have built your own digital repository and a toolkit of ICT resources ready to use in your classes from the first day back at school.

- Resource Portfolio: Completion of a comprehensive set of ready-to-use digital resources, presentations, and interactive activities tailored to the participant's specific subject area.
- Institutional Impact: Participants will be equipped to lead digital transformation initiatives within their own schools, sharing best practices with colleagues.
- Professional Certification: Receipt of a formal certificate of attendance and Europass Mobility document, validating the professional development achieved.
- Dissemination Strategy: Participants will develop a clear plan for disseminating the learned methodologies and tools to their local educational community.
- Confidence in ICT: A significant increase in digital self-efficacy and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to new technological requirements in the classroom.
- Cloud Computing Principles: In-depth understanding of Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) for seamless collaboration and storage.
- Design Principles for Education: Mastery of Canva for creating visually engaging educational materials and presentations based on user-experience design.
- Video Production Theory: Technical and conceptual knowledge of video creation using Renderforest, including editing, transitions, and narrative structure.
- Gamification Mechanics: Theoretical foundations of game-based learning and practical application via platforms such as Blooket and other interactive tools.
- Virtual Classroom Management: Conceptual knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and website building (Google Classroom and Google Sites) to create centralized, accessible, and organized learning hubs.
