Description
The job shadowing is a type of training for teachers that allows them to gain comprehensive knowledge about everyday responsibilities of their foreign counterparts by observing them in their workplace.
The aim of the participation in this type of program for both pedagogical and non-pedagogical school staff is to get to know all the details about the educational system in the host country and have the possibility to compare it with theirs in their home country. Moreover, it is an opportunity to apply and share their own experience related to education in an international context, build new partnerships and create inspiring and useful cooperation networks allowing for further professional and personal development.
The participants will have the opportunity to meet foreign students and teachers, talk to them, observe the classes, learn about the teaching methodologies they use, as well as comparing the facilites and specific equipment used to teach and organize daily work.
These competences extend beyond traditional academic achievements, focusing on fostering skills and qualities that empower individuals to navigate life with confidence and independence.
- Adaptive Learning Skills: Emphasis should be placed on developing adaptive learning skills, enabling individuals to absorb and apply knowledge in various contexts. This includes personalized learning approaches that cater to each individual's unique strengths and challenges.
- Social and Communication Proficiency: Building strong social and communication skills is crucial for fostering meaningful connections and promoting active participation in society. Specialized programs should focus on effective communication, interpersonal relationships, and social integration.
- Daily Living Skills: Equipping individuals with practical, everyday living skills enhances their autonomy. This includes tasks such as personal hygiene, time management, and household chores, fostering a sense of self-sufficiency.
