Description

This 5-day course equips primary school teachers with essential digital literacy skills to create inclusive, technology-enhanced classrooms. Teachers will explore ICT tools, learn to design accessible lesson materials, and develop strategies for continuous skill improvement. Hands-on workshops and collaborative discussions provide practical experience in planning and integrating ICT into daily teaching. The course culminates in an individualized ICT action plan and a certificate of completion, empowering teachers to support diverse learners in a digital world.

The course employs a learner-centered approach, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application through various interactive and collaborative techniques. The methodology consists of the following key components:

  • Facilitate practical application by allowing participants to explore and create lesson materials using various ICT tools in collaborative group settings.
  • Encourage group activities and peer review sessions to foster idea exchange, constructive feedback, and enhanced learning through collaboration.
  • Implement reflection journals and guided reflection discussions to promote self-assessment, critical thinking, and the application of new skills in teaching.
  • Conclude with capstone projects that result in individualized ICT action plans, alongside resources for ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
