Description

This job shadowing programme involves visiting schools to observe how students with diverse needs are supported in real classroom settings. Participants shadow teachers and support staff, gaining firsthand experience of strategies such as differentiation, adaptive learning, and inclusive teaching practices that promote equity and participation for all learners.

Through reflection and discussion with school staff, participants explore practical approaches to foster inclusion and gather ideas to apply in their own schools, creating a more supportive and accessible learning environment.

  • The programme is based on practical, observation-driven, and reflective approaches. Participants shadow teachers and support staff in classrooms to see inclusive practices in action. School visits and meetings with staff provide insight into school policies, staff roles, and support systems for diverse learners. Workshops and discussion sessions focus on inclusive teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, collaborative planning, and assessment practices. Reflection is an ongoing part of the process, helping participants analyze observed methods, consider challenges, and plan applications in their own schools. Collaborative learning is encouraged through dialogue with teachers and peers, enabling participants to share experiences, discuss effective strategies, and develop practical plans for fostering inclusion in their teaching environments.
